Wasilat Umar Sambo Wasilat Umar Sambo, a dedicated healthcare professional, was born on 29th July 1976 in Kano State, Nigeria. She is fluent in both Hausa and English and holds Nigerian nationality. Currently residing in Gombe State, she serves in the Ministry of Health.

• Master of Science in Public Health (2021-2023) from the National Open University of Nigeria.
• Bachelor of Nursing Science (2012-2017) from the National Open University of Nigeria.
• Specialized training in Pediatric Nursing at ABU Teaching Hospital, Zaria (2006-2007).
• Various certifications in Health Economics, Cluster Leadership, Gender-based Violence Support, and Pediatric Care obtained in 2023.
• Extensive foundational education from institutions such as College of Nursing & Midwifery, Kano, and Arabic Teachers College, Katsina.
