The Equity programme

This is a Social Health Security programme targeted at granting the poor and the vulnerable access to basic minimum quality healthcare services without out-of-pocket spending. The state has created an Equity Fund within the Gombe State Contributory Health Scheme to provide for the poor and vulnerable in the state which covers the aged, women of child bearing age, widows, physically challenged, IDPs and children under the age of five.
