Nuhu Usman Reme
Director Admin and FinanceNuhu Usman Reme is a graduate of Bachelor of Education from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. A trained teacher by profession, tutored at Government Science Secondary School Azare from 1992-1996 after the creation of Gombe state from the then Bauchi State, he was deployed to his mother state (GOMBE) and posted to Government Arabic College Gombe in 1997 as a classroom teacher. He was later transferred to Govemment Sclence Secondary School, Gombe in 2002 on the same Cadre. In November 2011 he was posted to SUBEB, Gombe as Head of Monitoring unit and Desk officer, Almair Educationy School Services Department. In 2013, the Department of Quality Assurance was carved out from School Services Department and he was deployed to the Department as a quality assurance officer and rosa through the rank of Deputy Director Quality Assurance, Gombe SUBEB. During his teaching career, he held the ranks/posts of form master, house master, estate officer, food master and examinations officer. In addition to that, he served as Chairman and Secretary respectively of various commitees within the academic circle. Upon getting the opportunity, he later exited the profession and transferred his service to office of the Head of Civil Service, General Administration Department, in 2018 as an Administrative officer and was posted back to SUBEB as Deputy Director Personnel Management and later in 2020 he was posted to GOSIE as DAF. In 2021 was posted to Ministry of Justice on the same cadre and 2023 was moved to Ministry of Education as Director Administration, after serving for about five months in that capacity, he was then posted to GoHealth as Director Administration and Finance. He holds NCE from College of Education, Azare, B.Ed from Ahmad Bello University, Zaria and Masters of Public Administration, from Gombe State University. He is happily married with children.
