Gombe women hails thank Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, for delivering dividends of democracy to them
...As Governor Inuwa Yahaya approves then enrollment of an additional 10,000 poor and vulnerable women across the state.
The Gombe State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency has embarked on an additional enrollment of 10,000 poor and vulnerable women across the state in it's equity scheme. The program which kick-started in Gombe Local Government Area, consisted of 50 persons in each of the 11 political wards, bringing the total numbers of beneficiaries to 550 in Gombe LGA.
The Agency's Team Lead, Dr. Abubakar Musa who was represented by the Director Planning Research and Statistics, Mr. Umar Tanimu stated that the GoHealth scheme provides succor to all under it's scheme and it mitigates the risk of catastrophic health expenditure. He encouraged the women to make use of their ID cards and ensure they make use of the hospitals whenever they are ill.
Delivering his goodwill message, Alh. Alhassan Yahya thanked Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for his dedicated leadership and selfless service to the people of Gombe and ensuring that women are given the necessary attention under this administration.
He expressed optimism that Governor Inuwa Yahaya will release the equity fund, which will create an avenue for the enrollment of more people in the GoHealth scheme so as to enable the Agency enroll more People.
Thanking Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the APC women leader Hajiya Lumbi Abubakar, noted that Governor Inuwa has distinguished himself amongst his contemporaries and predecessors, she promised an overwhelming support of women in the Governor's second term bid.
Present also at the event was, the former Local Government Chairman Alh. Ali Usman Ashaka, Alh. Abdullahi Maikano Doma who represented the Yeriman Gombe, Hajiya Fatima Shuaibu Gara and other top government functionaries.
