Adamawa State Contributory Health Management Agency (ASCHMA) visits GoHealth on Learning Visit ...describes Gombe as a model Contributory Health Scheme in Nigeria The Gombe State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (GoHealth) has received a delegation from Adamawa State Contributory Health Management Agency (ASCHMA) on a study tour. The delegation led by, the Executive Secretary of ASCHMA Dr. Amos Ujulu thanked GoHealth's Team Lead, Dr. Abubakar Musa for his continued support and assistance which has in no little way given ASCHMA the necessary boost for the take off of the State Contributory Health Scheme in Adamawa state, which is already recording several successes, including the enrollment of 40,000 poor and vulnerable into it's BHCPF scheme, and payment of capitation for 9 months as well as accreditation of some facilities for the Scheme. He thanked the Agency for the hospitality and synergy ASCHMA has enjoyed during the study tour.
Receiving the ASCHMA delegation the Agency's Team Lead, Dr. Musa thanked Dr. Ujulu and his team for choosing to visit Gombe, and emphasised that GoHealth also benefitted from such synergies in the past, and will always have it's door open for all who are willing to visit and learn.
The study session was taken by Dr. Gideon Maspara who took detailed sessions to explain existing GoHealth ICT modules and platforms. Dr. Maspara also revealed that GoHealth is already on it's way to becoming a paperless Agency because of it's robust ICT platform.
The tour also featured visits to the GoHealth office, GoHealthâs 24/7 call and contact center and a GoHealth accredited PHCC in the state.
The visit comes as ASCHMA prepares to begin deductions from Adamawa State Civil Servants for the Contributory Health Scheme, by the end of August.
