Nigeria Computer Society, describes GoHealth as a world-class healthcare provider....as GoHealth reveals plans for total digitization of it's operations. The Gombe State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency has revealed plans for complete digitization of it's processes, as it received a courtesy visit from the Nigerian Computer Society, Gombe State Chapter. Welcoming the delegation on behalf of the Team Lead of the Agency, Mr. Umar Tanimu Umar revealed that GoHealth is currently operating at 90% ICT, and it has contributed no small measure to the successes of the Agency, he added that GoHealth is working towards digitization of all it's processes and the agency aims to be paperless soon. He told the delegation that no single paper was used in the recent GoHealth BHCPF enrollment and Community Based Targeting. He revealed the efforts made by the agency in the development of it's mobile app, USSD, SMS and Web referral automation features which has improvedthe average referraltime to less that 20 minutes, and that GoHealth employs the services of local companies for the development of it's ICT infrastructure.
The Chairman of the Nigerian Computer Society, Mr. Abdullahi Musa Yola hailed GoHealth as the lead Agency in the state, due to its robust ICT framework that it was able to set up in less than 2 years. He described the agency as a world-class healthcare provider, stating that it was obvious from the several testimonies being shared by beneficiaries. The NCS promised to deploy all of it's professionals and ICT experts to GoHealth on demand.
Mr. Abdullahi Musa also appealed to the Agency to encourage it's ICT staff to register with the Nigerian Computer Society, so as to benefit from it's several conferences and pool of experience.
The Operations Manager, Dr. Gideon Maspara, thanked the society for the visit and appreciated the hand of fellowship, he stated that ICT is key to achieving Universal Health Coverage and showed readiness to accept all assistance and innovations from the Society.
