GoHealth holds state wide training exercise on second cohort Basic Healthcare Provision Fund, as beneficiaries begin to receive their GoHealth ID cards.
The Gombe State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency has engaged Facility Managers, Ward Development Committee (WDCs) Chairpersons, Desk Officers on GoHealth, including ANC/OPD incharges
The state wide trainings will be held in all local government areas across the state. This comes as GoHealth has embarked on an upgrade of it's processes compared to the previous year.
Dr. Gideon Maspara at the State Level training of trainers, revealed that some of the new innovations include an automation of referral procedures, online collation and submission of beneficiary encounter data, as well as freewill for beneficiaries to move their service to another facility where they are not satisfied. Furthermore, each health facilities will be required to set up a 24/7 desk office, that will attend to GoHealth beneficiaries at any given time.
According to Dr. Gideon Maspara the training session is aimed at sharing the latest upgrade to GoHealth ICT framework, as well as appraise the performance of each facility and recommend way forward.
Today, the team visited Funakaye, Dukku and Nafada LGA, other LGAs are expected to be covered by the end of the week.
