….. lauds Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s unprecedented overhauling of the entire healthcare delivery system in the state

The Lawmaker representing Pero Chonge Constituency Bldr. Samuel Markus Wina has hailed Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya's GoHealth initiative. Leading a delegation comprising of major stakeholders from his constituency, Hon. Wina commended the Governor for his visionary leadership that has brough about unprecedented improvement in the health system in the state and ensuring that the health needs of the people of Gombe are met, and further proves that Gombe state is on a part to prosperity, because health is wealth. He noted that the scheme will not only be beneficial in providing succour to the people of Gombe, but will guarantee sustainable financing to the health facilities.

He thanked the Governor for birthing the GoHealth Scheme, which he describes as a 'work of God', particularly the BHCPF program where poor and vulnerable members of the society are enrolled to enjoy free access to basic health services.

He recalled that he was the majority leader of the house when the bill was brought for passage, and he stood his ground and encouraged his colleagues to see that the bill saw the light of the day.

Reacting to the warm courtesy call, Dr. Abubakar Musa praised the lawmaker -whom he referred as his brother-, for his foresight, describing the visit as the first of it's kind since the inception of the Agency. He thanked all the members of the delegation for finding it worthy to visit the Agency and assured them of the commitment of GoHealth to ensure the vision of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya and indeed the good people of the state is achieved.
