GOHEALTH CONCLUDES ACCREDITATION OF HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS ........REGISTERS 41 PUBLIC & PRIVATE FACILITIES AS PRIMARY HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS IN THE FIRST PHASE

........issues warning to health facilities to ensure compliance with GoHealth standards and protocols in ensuring quality service provision to beneficiaries.
Gombe State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (GoHealth) has rounded up its accreditation exercise to license health care providers that will be responsible for providing health care services to the beneficiaries of the scheme.
The Head of Accreditation and Enforcement unit of the Agency, Dr. Ayuba Baka revealed that out of 57 health facilities that expressed interest, the Agency found 41 to have met the minimum criteria and thus were accredited as primary health care providers under the GoHealth scheme.
He charged the facilities to keep up with what the accreditation team saw in their various facilities and ensure that their services continue to meet the set standards.
He stated that the facilities will be issued Certificates of Provisional Accreditation, and warns that for facilities who do not ensure compliance to GoHealth standards and protocols, the Agency will not hesitate to revoke their accreditation.
He finally congratulated the facilities and wished them the best while assuring them that GoHealth will give them all the necessary support in order to ensure its enrollees receive the highest standard of care available.
The facilities accredited includes primary and secondary healthcare facilities from public and private sector repectively.
