GOMBE STATE CONTRIBUTORY HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT AGENCY (GOHEALTH) SIGNS SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENTS (SLA) WITH THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATORS (TPAS) AND AN INDEPENDENT FUND MANAGER,

GoHealth has today signed service level agreements with three Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and an Independent Fund Manager. Reiterating the administration's efforts to reduce out-of-pocket expenditure in the purchase of healthcare, the Honorable Commissioner for Health, Dr Habu Dahiru congratulated the people of Gombe noting emphatically that the signing of the contracts between the TPAs and IFM with GoHealth is a remarkable milestone, 'as it will fuel a seamless process for heathcare delivery in the state'. Dr. Habu Dahiru, called on all parties to put all hands on deck to achieve the objectives of His Excellency Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya and the people of Gombe state.

Congratulating the successfully selected TPAs and IFM the Board Chairman, GoHealth, Dr Muhammad Isa Umar, charged them to hit the ground running, announcing the formal sector programme commences from the 1st of October, hence it is expected that the state civil servants and their families will start enjoying the scheme.

The Director General, Due Process office hailed GoHealth, for it's strict adherence to the state procurement guidelines despite the time constraint. He charged the selected TPAs not to spare any effort in executing their duties.

Representatives of Medicare Alliance Ltd, Ashmed Integrated Health Services, Prime Cure Healthcare Ltd, as well as Ava Global Asset Managers thanked the pragmatic leadership of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, who has looked beyond the supply side of healthcare and thurst further to look into the demand side. They thanked GoHealth for the opportunity and confidence reposed in them, thereby promising to give nothing less than the best in terms of healthcare.

The Team Lead, Dr Abubakar Musa, praised the proactiveness of the administration, and called for the need to remain on track and focused as the challenges ahead remains enormous. He revealed that the TPAs and IFM were selected based on merit through a very rigorous process, announcing that GoHealth hopes to be a model to other states.
